Details :

Program Titian Digital ICT lab was equipped with 41 pcs to a server that runs on Ubuntu (Open Source) platform.  The lab was donated by Selangor State Government

Students at SJKT Methodist has been undergoing classes conducts by Program Titian Digital (Managed by
Pertubuhan Belia Hindu Pelabuhan Klang) since June 2011.

Each class was allocated 15 minutes time to run Open Source Kolor Paint program and design some basic graphic works.

Each student was required to fill us a participation form that to be handed over before entering the lab.

Program Titian Digital invited 4 Open source experts from Chennai, Hyderabad and Brisbane for discussion to identify areas of short fall and ways to further improve our labs.

Later in the evening all ICT tutors was trained by Mr Inniyan (former Lecturer Maktab Perguruan Ilmu Khas) on teaching strategies.

As Program Titian Digital solely funded by Donation from well wishers, we requires following items for our ICT for Rural and under served  expansion program ::

a. Used CPU's ( minimum Pentium 3) with good network and graphic card
b. Plastic Chairs
c. Network Cable
d. Made to order computer Table 
e. LCD Projectors (new)
f.  LCD Monitor with build in sound system (new)
g. Computer Mouse
h. Keyboards

Rotary Club Kelana Sg Ujung Launch Fund Raising for PTD Project

President Muru of Rotary club Kelana Sg Ujung, Negeri Sembilan D3300 today official launch Fund Raising effort. Fund collected will be used to setup fully functional ICT Lab complete with 41 terminals, a server, 2 air conditioning units, Projectors , and safety grills.

During the event some donors pledged electrical wiring works and another to sponsor networking cables.

The club aims to raise some RM100,000 for this purpose. Best wishes to the club and it's member for taking a bold step towards betterment of rural tamil schools in Malaysia.
